Stacey got her “crash course” in production as First Assistant Director on a state-commissioned Civil War documentary. Shot over the course of just 2 weekends, it featured hand-to-hand combat, horse chases, choreographed fight sequences, and a controlled prairie fire. And no real crashes or accidents occurred. Safety first!

A decade later and now based in LA, she’s teamed up with the likes of Netflix, Disney, NBC, HBO, HGTV, Travel Channel, Adult Swim, and more — as producer, director, and assistant director — working across the country and internationally.
